TEDxEmilyCarrU 2021: ReCognize
鈥淩eCognize鈥 will feature 8 incredible speakers in a virtual gathering on May 15, 2021. Social mixers, activities, and engaging conversations with the speakers and fellow attendees will be part of the experience!
As the world becomes more uncertain each day, the ability to stop and recognize what鈥檚 truly going on becomes increasingly necessary. ReCognize means thinking critically about what we see around us. It starts with examining the messaging around us, recognizing underlying assumptions, bias and stereotypes. It鈥檚 a cycle of listening, identifying, reworking, and learning. When you look at the world with critical eyes, there鈥檚 no telling how much you will ReCognize.

About TEDx
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxEmilyCarrU (previously, TEDx色库TVAD), where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxEmilyCarrU event, TED talks style video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
