Emily Carr's Basically Good Media Lab hosts the Basically Fun Media Lounge, presenting the artist talk "Immersive New Media and Experimental Mixed Reality" by BGML's research assistant and graduate student Asad Aftab.
Asad is an Industrial Designer turned Immersive Experience Designer & Experimental New Media Artist. His current practice & graduate research revolves around fusing various media techniques such as Mixed Reality, Stereoscopic 3D, and Spatial Sound to enhance storytelling & narration in cinematic approaches to media art.
