É«¿âTV hosts its annual Master of Fine Arts thesis exhibition featuring work from the 2024 cohort of MFA full-residency degree candidates. The culmination of two years of intensive artistic research, the exhibition showcases the results of studio-based education and critiques integrated with seminar readings and discussions.
The MFA program comprises an international cohort of emerging artists who work with renowned faculty and distinguished visiting curators, scholars and artists. This thesis exhibition with the title Kindred showcases the diverse practices made by the MFA full-residency class of 2024, with work addressing solistalgia, memory, street aesthetics, Chinese ink art, affect, hybrid Bangladeshi patterns, humans and machines, public art and collaboration, Indigenous inter-dimensional broadcasting, materiality, and simulation through collage, installation, painting, paper craft, photography, printmaking, sculpture, textiles, video and weaving.
